Equipment

Machinery, sculptures, electrical transformers, and similar objects weighing hundreds of tons can be moved to your site on specially designed, multi-axle, heavy hauling equipment. Once at the site, Atlas' heavy duty rigging equipment will set the most massive machinery with precision and care. When setting is complete, your machinery will be leveled and assembled by Atlas' master millwrights to assure maximum output and component life. And when your equipment is operational, Atlas' maintenance crews can keep it running like new with the services you need, when you need them...weekends, holidays, days or nights.
Services Offered
Fabrication/Maintenance -- When field operations require, Atlas' own fabrication shop can custom build and repair the parts and tools required for even the most demanding rigging and installation projects. When conveyors or other machinery need repairing, Atlas' master millwrights can remove the defective parts, send them to Atlas' fabrication shop for rebuilding or remanufacture, then replace the parts, often with little or no down time.
The fabricating and machining center can custom manufacture items such as stainless steel tanks, conveyors and material handling equipment. It can also fabricate miscellaneous structural steel items including platforms, stairways, and OSHA-required safety rail and guards. And Atlas offers a complete finishing shop, including epoxy, polymers and zinc-enriched finished and airless electro-static painting.
Rigging/Installation -- Atlas has the capability to install whole conveyor systems, from stainless steel bottling lines for food and beverage processors such as Anheuser-Busch, to a bulk conveyor system totaling a mile in length at a compost facility owned by the City of Columbus. And Atlas can fabricate either components or entire sections of conveying systems to make sure your system is always right for the job.
Industrial/Electric -- Atlas also installs large power and free conveyor systems, electrified monorail and transfer lines for the automotive industry and packaging conveyors for distribution operations. And Atlas can maintain all types of conveyor systems, fabricating replacement components on either an emergency or scheduled basis.
